I think it has hints of F-Type in the side profile particularly and agree it looks pretty good.
No doubt in the same way we laughed at Japanese cars 40 odd years ago, Chinese cars will end up spreading everywhere, especially if they can produce a Tesla type competitor in terms of performance and range.

That's an F-Type ripoff isn't it?

I'm not seeing the F-Type thing myself - like all cars of this ilk it has similarities to its competitors - Aston etc - better looking than an F-Type to my eyes.

Going by the first and second photos it looks like they might be some kind of sliding covers - probably the sort of thing, like I suspect the doors, that will not find their way from the concept to the production version.

I agree that's not as bad as it could be and also while I see Asthma n and Hyundai Veloster (minus the weird doors), and maybe a hint of other Jags at the front (and old Lexus SC at te back), I'm not getting much F-Type.

Detailing aside, I like that. Quite a lot, it perturbs me to say.

I think that looks great. Most of the over the top detailing won't make production so the final product will be quite a good looking car. If only they had some dealerships to sell them in!

What's happened there is some Western designers have been given a shed load of cash to design an MG by the Chinese. So they went to town on it. When the tooling costs, development budget and safety requirements to get type approval in the important Europe and US markets are revealed we'll get some rehashing FWD last generation fwd shit-box.
Looks ok though.

I quite like it, cannot put my finger on a likeness but it could do with being more like that than a rehashed baked beans tin. So, we will probably get a re-skinned baked beans tin then.

I thought the side view was reminiscent of the F Type.
