Well, that was a good one wasn't it? We spend a weekend on Saunton Sands, north Devon and it felt like high summer. Until the sun went down and the temps dropped right off. I was even able to spend an hour at a time in the sea with just trunks on, although more natural insulation than usual probably helped!

Played golf, washed and ceramic coated both cars, cut the grass, did some weeding, pained a fence, sorted the lights at the front of the house and did some pointing. I then fixed my neighbours front door lock and sat down with a big drink.
Can't beat being outside when the sun is shining.

It wasn't bad at all. April last yearvwas mild, folliwed by a very disappointing May and then a scorching summer (which ended the dayvwe went to Cornwall for 2 weeks!)
I was in and out of work all weekend so I didn't see much of it and I'm knackered but we did enjoy a cracking BBQ on Sunday.

We were up at Bamburgh, the beaches were wonderful, fish and chips after, big 99 ice creams, washed down with Alnwick IPA.

Had a house-full with both daughters and both grand-daughters at home - the younger one was 2 on Easter Sunday and the daughters had planned a special late Sunday lunch for us all at a local restaurant. Even my mum agreed to come although that meant that younger daughter and I had to fetch and return her, an hour-plus each journey..... first time she's been away from her home for more than a couple of hours since dad died in late 2016. A good time was had by all.

Yes truly stunning Easter weather. I think it may have been a record Easter high, or very close to it, in some areas.
Spent all four days outside pretty much all the time. Now sporting the nice beginnings of my annual farmer's tan. Although this year I am determined to wear shorts a lot more. Be very afraid world.....

A lovely weekend of beautiful weather. I only saw it on trips to B&Q and Homebase due to replacing the downstairs bog and main bathroom suites

We stayed at the same place as last year. 12 months ago a bridleway was literally feet deep in mud and water not helped by all that March weather. This easter it was almost bone dry.

Great weather and we had a nice, desperately needed relaxing weekend. We had a couple of days away at a nice spa hotel, spent a lot more time outside drinking and enjoying the sunshine than using the indoor facilities

Lots of flying on & off over the four days, marred only by a bit of an 'arrival' on what I'd planned to be my penultimate flight of the weekend yesterday. It turned out to be the last one, but all fixed now.
In between all that was an evening out at a comedy gig in our local theatre oin Saturday - most enjoyable!

Working the majority of it, but had a great afternoon and evening with friends at a BBQ on Saturday and the usual pub crowd on Sunday.

It was far too hot and sunny to be a British bank holiday weekend. We spent last week in North Cornwall and didn’t see a drop of rain. It was a little chilly at the beginning of the week but by Wednesday was quite mild. Went to the beach at Bude on a couple of evenings and had a nice walk around Knightshayes near Tiverton on the way to my parents in Poole on Friday. Spent yesterday clearing the garden up and then had the first BBQ of the year in the evening.
