It was well documented how hard an act to follow the R1 was and so it seems like David Moyes the Panigale is a bit of a duffer.
I am away at present but upon my return to Blighty a 2016 BMW S1000RR is the only thing on the shopping list. Vines Guildford have a bog standard one at a decent price so if that’s not snapped up I’m in.
On the plus side having bought the Duke in November the market rate seems to have improved such that I might make almost no loss on the swap. The insurance is nigh on identical so I’m expecting minimal cost to change there, too. It needs a new rear and it still has 1400 miles before the next service which is what these things generally do in a year as opposed to my daily use.
I’ll write up the Panigale experience when I’ve got rid of it. Hopefully the all-conquering BMW will be more Unai Emery than Jose Mourinho.

Interesting. Look forward to your end of term report, and I hope the German replacement does the trick.
