I know it looks like any other Morgan, it does, but it looks that little bit better. I love this.

As you say it looks like pretty much every other 4 wheel Morgan.
I saw earlier in the week that a majority stake has been sold to an Italian venture capital firm called InvestIndustrial.
Are there any British owned car firms left?

There was another Morgan with a more modern twist but can I find it? Nope.

Also, all new is pushing it a little bit.

Unsurprisingly, I really like this, but it really needs a manual box option.
Talk in Morgan club circles suggests that this is the beginning of the end for the traditional, 1930's technology Morgans. The future will be all about traditionally styled models hiding a modern aluminium structure beneath.

I agree. They say that 1% of parts are carried over so it's only 99% new.

I think the BMW sex toy/1990s PC joystick gearlever spoils the look of the centre console somewhat. Not very Tally Ho is it?

I agree. They say that 1% of parts are carried over so it's only 99% new. But it does look 100% the same.

The target audience (people like me, but with more money) would have it no other way. The Aero range looked a bit odd and would not be accepted as a replacement for the traditional models. This could. The traditional 4/4 has been discontinued, so look out for a three cylinder 3/4 version of this new model in the near future...

When it came out the aeromax looked great, now it just looks awkward. Perhaps Morgans can stay the same after all.

I do not get Morgan at all. I never did at all either. But this new approach - finally blending modern methods with old crafts can only result in a car that has more appeal, which has to be a good thing. They should be able to take the existing customer base with them but also attract new customers.

The wheels look awfully similar to those on a 1999/2000 Mondeo ST200.

Can someone please tell them that those vents in the front wing are the wrong way around? Looks terrible!

Can someone please tell them that those vents in the front wing are the wrong way around? Looks terrible! I disagree; they echo the line of the windscreen, grille angle, and bonnet vent. They would visually jar slanting the other way.

Interesting. Initially I agreed with Racing, but looking at the picture of the car again - I agree with Bob!

Interesting. Initially I agreed with Racing, but looking at the picture of the car again - I agree with Bob! I agree with the angle of the vents v the windscreen, so that's another vote for Bob. But what I can't work out is if they are vents in or vents out for the air flow? They look like they are pressed to be vents to catch air, whereas I would have thought their purpose was the let air out of the wheel arch? Or is their so much pressure in the wheel arch v the side flow that t does not matter?

As they probably do 2% of fuck all why have them to argue about in the first place?

That bottom photo looks really wrong. It looks like the whole front of the car is going different directions.

I'm with Racing, a bit of jiggling with angle.position and it'd match the line of the wheel arch and go with the swoop of the wing.

I prefer the forward-angled vents too, but then they are the least of its aesthetic problems as far as I am concerned!
