That looks pretty good.
I had an interesting conversation yesterday with a guy who used to be an Audi Master Technician. He said that behind doors, Audi have the e-tron, the g-tron and the h-tron. The g is for gas, which will be released in europe because they have the infrastructure and he sees the h-tron as being the real future, h being for hydrogen.

That is quite restrained for an Audi. IMVHO, pure battery tech is a blind alley and I have no idea why we are stuck in that alley.

Yeah, the more I get involved with it the more I realise hydrogen fuel cells are the future. They offer zero carbon, zero emission, no range anxiety, rapid refuelling, no charging problems, without all the environmental issues that battery production causes. There will be a future for electric vehicles in cities but most of us will be driving hydrogen fuel cell vehicle as they allow us to transition to a low carbon transport infrastructure without any limitations.

Did I imagine it, or is E-Tron pronounced as "eh-tron" and not "ee-tron"?
Because that is helmetry of the highest order if so.

I don't know, I'm not German.
Is it the same reason the Ford Ecosport is pronounced as Ecko-sport?

I suppose this was inevitable considering the current market, but whilst it looks kind of OK, it's not a patch on the E-tron-GT saloon.

Take off the front 4-ringed badge and that's a Hyundai, or Kia, or even worse a SsangYong. I know it's a concept but needs more Audi DNA at the front. I agree with Grampa, the E-Tron GT saloon is a thing of utter beauty

It's a perfectly decent basic shape in my opinion. Nothing to frighten off the mainstream mass affluent consumer at whom it is aimed.

It is, but put your finger over the front Audi 4-ringed badge on the photo and could you honestly tell me (if you didn't already know it was an Audi) which manufacturer made that car? I wouldn't hazard a guess at Audi to be honest, I would have said Korean. It's attractive but it doesn't shout its blood line

Although the huge grille is as usual overdone, but it's an Audi so that is to be expected. And I presume that the grille is any way blanked off, as it is not required for airflow. That was the one thing that looked a bit odd close up on the i-Pace. From afar the grille looks OK. But up close, you can see a slab of black plastic behind it that channels the air up and over the bonnet to aid air flow. Yet without a grille, Tesla's look odd.
