About a mile from my house - seem to be causing quite a stir too - apparently off to Pendine sands (about 15 miles away) tomorrow.

Indeed. I thought Matt and chris were a good, developing double act and there was some genuine chemistry between them. Rory was OK in the earlier series but became a twat later on, which is why he got sidelined more and more and has now been sent off to the extra-programme.

They look like they belong advertising a certain post code lottery. Rather sad.

I'll give it a try. At least they've employed genuinely funny hosts rather than having the funny stuff scripted. Flintoff and McGuiness will probably be a great double act. I’ve always thought Freddie’s been quite good on A League of Their Own and is certainly well versed in the world of lad banter so he’s probably a good match for Top Gear.

When I heard they were coming I was hoping it would be in three super cars so it was a bit disappointing to see the bodged up hearse. It did sound rather tasty though so maybe they plan some sort of speed attempt on the sands tomorrow.
But thinking about it, I did see an Aston Martin Vantage (first of the new model I've seen) the day before with the number plate 0006 SPY - (6 struck me as a bit of miss if you're going to have such a git plate) so I wonder if that was to do with the programme as well?
