McLaren wheels always look aftermarket to me. Love the colour but the car leaves me cold (should put the roof up).

I like the vanilla 720S, not so keen on the spider (or that colour).

I really like the 720S, enough to forgive the headlights (just) and would choose Spyder over coupe. Not in that colour.

I like all the Mclaren’s and possibly might have got a 570 if I hadn’t got the gt3,but what they are doing to their own brand puzzles me. Lots of stories about horrific servicing issues .The cars depreciate far faster than any of their competitors and they are throwing huge discounts off list, around 40k on some models . A lot of potential customers dismiss them for these reasons .

Visit Port Grimaud any time to witness this.... As to the car, Franki has stated far simpler than I could the reasons why I would steer clear of Woking's automotive discharge.

Double what Porsche would charge for a 911 Turbo would be a decent saving.

Servicing and warranty costs are huge. I suspect that this car will be worthless once the warranty runs out.....

I suspect that this car will be worthless once the warranty runs out..... He reckons it’s a common issue that the 12C had a lot of problems with quality issues and owners were almost like guinea pigs for the brand. Whether he newer models are better I don’t know but you’d like to hope that as they gained experience they put the things together better.

Judging by the Mclaren forums quality is much improved since the early 12c’s On newer models there is a mixture of owners who have experienced major issues (parts supply seems to be a biggie, cars go in for work and are sat around for weeks waiting for parts ) and those who have no issues at all .

ThAts what I think ,they must flatten out but the running costs are outrageous and even if you are prepared for that ,if there is a problem are you prepared for the nightmare that seems to be their parts supply ? I have read of cars off the road for 6 months due to lack of parts .
