Reading that, in some ways it's a bit of a shame that the collection is being broken up rather than being opened as a museum, However if the cars do all go to enthusiastic owners who drive them, that's as good, IMHO

Fuck Museums, cars are for driving and they'll hopefully end up in the hands of drivers rather than polishers.

At some of those prices I doubt many will turn into daily drivers.
Fantastic array of cars from an era when good design meant cars were aesthetically pleasing and in some of those cars outstanding. Current designers have lost the plot somewhere along the line.

Don't get me wrong, I'll happily go to a car museum but they have a serious whiff of car death. There is little more depressing then a car that's not used.

Back to young timers, got an E30 325iX LHD in my AT garage at present. £9k; 2 door, air con, sunroof. Looks pretty straight. Seriously, seriously thinking about it a lot.
