This looks like a nice evolution of the original. Much more baby Velar:

I think I'd need to see that next to an up-spec current one to be sure of much difference.

I bet the prices will be "premium" too....... I should have thought so - it says Range Rover on the front after all.
Three door was dropped late in the last models life, nobody buys them any more.

No surprises there then. An updated, Velar-ised look - externally and internally.
The haters will still hate it. The buyers will decide. Personally, I think it looks a good update. But in all the words, this paragraph stood out -
Responses from Evoque owners to extensive customer research have shown that city-bound motorists continue to value the Evoque for its relative compactness. The new model has exactly the same 4.37-metre length as the original (150mm shorter than an Audi Q3) but the 2019 car has a 20mm longer wheelbase that delivers its extra space directly to the rear cabin as enhanced leg room. The rear doors are bigger, improving access, and there’s 10% more boot space. Rear accommodation, problematic for some customers of the original Evoque, is now acceptable if not class-leading.
Is this the first ever car that has not grown between versions? Maybe, finally, cars are going to stop getting bigger and bigger? We can nut hope.

I like that a lot, and I've never been a massive Evoque fan. The Velar is a lovely car but I couldn't justify one, this one, perhaps.

Looks good but I don’t like the flush door handles on this or the Velar. Don’t know why.

Very successful update, the white one with the 21s on Autocar looks very tidy.
Configurator was very slow last night, a good sign I hope

I was looking at an Evoque a few days ago and was thinking to myself that it was looking tired and dated, this face-lift does a good job at refreshing it.

I actually quite like the Evoque and in my opinion its treatment of the various LR/RR styling cues is by far the most successful. For example it doesn't have the massive, sloping rear overhang that you see on the Velar and Disco 5, a look that doesn't work to my eyes.

Nice, is this a new model or facelift. It sorts out the dodgy back end that alaways looked an after thought on the original Evoque.

If there's no 3 door, does that mean the ridiculous convertible has been dropped?

Not the worst of its breed but nothing much either.

I like it a lot, but disappointed to see that LR are dragging their feet with the launch of the plug in hybrid version. I shall probably be looking for a plug in SUV in the new year, but the choice appears to be limited to either an Outlander or an Outlander at the moment.

I think I'd need to see that next to an up-spec current one to be sure of much difference. My thoughts entirely!
It's nice but it just looks like a well-executed face-lift (or more accurately an arse-lift) of the existing one.
But much as I like the design, I can't imagine buying one.

Beautifully detailed - as if a concept car has made it from the show stand straight to the road without any of the comprises that usually occur with such a transition. Like RTT though, as much as I like it, I wouldn't buy one.
