Reports are coming through just now that Nissan are looking to terminate Carlos Ghosn as Chairman with immediate effect. For serious financial impropriety relating to under-reporting his annual salary and misuse of company assets for personal use, apparently. I suppose if you're only getting paid several $Million a year that's perfectly understandable.....
I think he was something of a saviour for Nissan though, and Renault for that matter.

Agreed, he did them more than a few good deeds. Being only as good as your last actions means that if he got a bit greedy, he will be gone but will he still get the golden divorce or whatever they are calling hush money these days?

Some of the secretary's or pa's are proper frightening tbh, more like the milk machine than the milk maid.

Never fails to amaze me how having a huge amount of money seems to drive the desire for even more - why? - what does it actually do for you once you get to a certain point?

I guess it's more about the achievment than the money itself; knowing that you have got to that level and then going even further and the amount of money that you can command is a direct correlation to how good you are in your field and your status. Look at how many seriously rich people out there who still work; Richard Branson, Mark Zukeberg, Bill Gates etc, they could give it all up and live a thousand lifetimes on the money that they have but they continue working, ammassing even more money.

Seems that Renault decided, at a board meeting today, that they are going to keep Ghosn on as CEO. So an indicted person will be CEO of Renault. What's that all about? Mind you, Audi waited until the guy actually went to prison to replace their CEO.

I can understand the need to carry on working (even if I probably wouldn't do it myself - at least not for monetary remuneration), but to engage in dishonest activity when you already have so much is what is beyond me - I guess there are thousands like him though such as the fuck womble that passes for POTUS.

Has he been proved guilty of the crimes he's accused of?

Well presumably there was enough proof for his dismissal.
