Based only on the pictures, I think this is quite a successful design. Certainly beats the X5 and Q7.

It hides its bulk quite well in that picture. Probably won't when it's running over FIAT 500s on the school run.

The outside look OK. Not too many chintzy details.
But you've got to wonder what the inside is all about? Acres of screens, multiple air vents and a weird mix of materials. It's like Rolex deciding that they will keep the case the same but replace the face by a pair of LED / LCD screens.

To be honest I prefer the looks of the much more lowly Peugeot 3008 and Kia Sportage for that style of vehicle.
