Was in Texas this week and had a KIA Optima for a few days. I didn’t get much driving time in it as we literally used it for about 60 miles, to and from the hotel. I can see why so many people buy KIA’s now. They’ve come a long way since they sold the Pride.
Certainly an adequate car, it only had a few hundred miles on it but was comfortable and well suited for the purpose we needed it for. Engine was willing to pull at highway speeds and only used about 2 gallons of fuel which is good for a car here.
Bluetooth was hard to connect with for an android phone and I didn’t try my iPhone with it.
Apart from that, a decent enough car from a company that is really gaining a lot of customers here.

Indeed, when I was in California at the start of October I noticed a lot of Kias, Hyundais and Tesla on the roads.
There are also a load of other models not offered for sale in the UK (or Europe?) from many other manufacturers

I really like the Optima estate, good looking car. Yes, agreed, it'd be a toss up between that and the Octavia Estate for me.

I really like the Optima estate, good looking car. Holds a lot of model aircraft too - one of the flying club members has one.
