Didn't realise they were so expensive - or quite so delicate! No wonder they wanted all our old Harriers; to use when the F-22 was in the garage - again!!

Bit misleading that article. They can see one airframe that looks like an F22 and they don't know if it's an operational plane or a training mock up. The flying F22s will be safe in their shelters - that's what they're designed for.

Quite. I'm sure that the $475M each planes would take pride of place in the most sturdy hangars, you know, the ones designed to withstand the effects of a nuclear strike. I'm sure that could just about resist a strong wind
