What's wrong with the rear doorhandle?

What's wrong with the rear doorhandle? It follows the line on the door rather than being level with the front one. Looks slightly odd, but not something that would bother me to much.

Well there is that, but I also dislike the design of them, whereby the size of the oval depression is the same size as the handle. I much prefer the design used on the F30.

Been playing on the configurator. The prices don't look too bad until you get to the summary where they suddenly jump by 20% because initially VAT is not included !

It would be better if they'd fitted them in with the shoulder line just above. I hadn't really noticed them before and now its going to annoy me whenever I see one. Thanks you two

I can only imagine that they've done that to make the door handle level with the door surface. But I agree it looks a bit odd. And re the location of the rear door handles, I now can't unsee that either. It does look very unbalanced.

Hopefully they’ve improved the feeling of quality of the door handles, it’s something you experience every time you use the car and isn’t great imho.

I've started seeing a new 3 series going the other way on the morning commute. From the back it looks like a Lexus IS (I think). Yes, I know what you mean.
I saw a number of them doing rental car duty (Sixt stickers in the rear window) when we were in the south of France last week. My opinion hasn't changed.
The 3 does seem to have become rental fodder. So much for "premium", eh?

I use them most of the time and in Europe at least, it’s not just a ‘premium’ model, the spec is good as well. Eg The 320d SE in Barcelona had adaptive dampers, proper LED headlights, upgraded alloys/steering wheel and a few other bits that wouldn’t have been standard. The X3 in Dubrovnik had HUD, surround cameras, full digital dash, electric seats etc,

I just usually find them excessively expensive compared to other options. I think the last time I used Sixt was in Mexico about 6 yrs ago.

I saw a new white 3-series this morning....... whoever signed off the styling of the grille and leading edge of the bonnet needs shooting. It looked absolutely dire (IMHO, of course)

^ Yes but from the photos it did not look too bad to me, and I've seen a few new 3-series but not in white and it didn't look too bad. However in white it looks absolutely messy and disjointed

Very few modern cars look good in white in my view.
My wife's Fiat 500 is one and that new small electric Honda is another, but there aren't many.

I've seen several of these OTR now and the most hideous one was white with a black grille. Best is blue or grey with chrome schnoz but still no looker.
