Not exactly sure what to make of this, did not see the race myself. The accusation is that there were several conflicts during the race which led to Romano Fenati grabbing the brake lever on Stefano Manzi's bike almost taking him off the track. Black flagged and a two race ban led to the team giving Fenati the ol' heave ho.
Anyone see the whole thing and have a proper take on the event?
Even with provocation my take would be to remove his license for a minimum of ten years but then if I were to have a say, Crashjean and Mad Max would also be history.

Didn't see the race, or spoken with a mate who watches pretty much the whole race weekend, every race! What I've seen, though, would indicate that the actions taken by both his current and proposed new teams are quite correct; he could easily have had Manzi off and badly hurt or worse. Whatever may have occurred earlier was no justification for that.

Unsurprisingly I watched it and fuck me! insane. Fenati is a known loon, thrown out of Rossi’s VR46 set up for a row with Uccio (Rossi’s best mate that’s been by his side every race since Italian junior days). The stuff with Manzi was typical junior class type racing which can be a bit ruthless but Fenati’s action was outrageous. As it is his current team dropped him, his 2019 team dropped him and today I read Fenati said he’ll never race again. The Italian police are considering charging him with attempted murder. Minor correction: it’s moto2

I saw the clip. Should be a lifetime ban, he could have killed the other rider - the fact that he didn't is pure luck.

"..... today I read Fenati said he’ll never race again. The Italian police are considering charging him with attempted murder". I hope he does some serious time with a stripy suntan. None of your holiday inn prison stuff either.
