The decision was taken a few weeks ago, before I did the trackday evening there with evo last month. Apparently it had been losing money every year and has significant debts.

Such a shame as its an amazing facility. I went and watched the first Indy car race and my good buddies flat mate was an oval racer in the uk nascar thing so went there a number of times back in the day. It was never going to make money tough.
