Not the AA or AAA variety. Due to the low mileage and infrequent use my current battery is not holding its charge. Charged overnight tuesday, drove the car wednesday to my weekly scare session at Asda, tried this morning after the gimp moved out of my space and nada. On charge now but it seems logical that the thing is dead, long live the thing. Any advice on types or outlets?

I don't know if you have easy access to a power socket but I got one of these for mum's car as she basically doesn't drive any more but does not want to sell her car yet: www.argos.co.uk/product/7604351

Thanks, being about a hundred yards away from the car makes it difficult, the estate is not exactly car friendly. Might look into a solar at some time but cannot see how it would work with having to keep it inside the vehicle. Would a solid state battery be a better bet?
