I'll kick this one off a bit early just in case anyone else feels inspired to post. The BBC is reminding us that it's 20 years since the mega-pile-up in the wet at the start of the 1998 Belgium GP, which eventually resulted in a 1-2 for the Jordan team.
Hopefully no repeat this time round

First race I've watched in three years, largely because it was Spa. Would still have switched off of Da Ham had been leading comfortably - a blinkered view reinforced by his graceless post-race 'interview', god he's a petulant childish tosser...

Fortunately, I saw only an hour or so of the pre-race stuff on Ch4, a small portion of the race and none of the aftermath. Missed little it seems, as per. Must admit to feeling good about Haas's result though, given the (somewhat tenuous) family link.

Haas did good but Force India with their fortunate quali result did a blindin' job. 18 points from one race is something they could only have dreamed about. I missed Hamilton's strop but Coulthard and Webber did discuss it, seems there were suspicions re the red car pace. It does seem like a bit of sour grapes.

Always a joy to watch the cars at Spa, but this race was consigned to mediocrity by the first corner shunt which took out the weekend's fastest car/driver combination (Raikkonen) the sport's best overtaker (Ricciardo) and the midfield's most exciting talent (Leclerc).
Great to see Force India back in giant slaying mode, though.
