This is always the first date to be added to our new calendar on the kitchen wall, when we get it each new year. An informal gathering of pre-war cars, with un-timed runs up the hill; there is always plenty to see and it provides a good opportunity to meet with like-minded 'Mr Toads'.
I had three runs up the hill in the Standard, which I timed with the stopwatch on my wrist watch. The best run was 1'59", which is very good for my car. Some members of the Standard Owners Club were there and they commented on how well they thought it was running. Look out for a car you might recognise at 1'09" on this video, with some photos below:
