Mercedes adapting the Audi-esque "Same sausage, different length" design principle.
I genuinely wouldn't be able to tell it apart from all the other EQXs.

My Dad, in his infinite wisdom, after 6 knee operations and retiring from the Post Office on a tidy pension, decided to buy a brand new Ford Puma ST. Manual.
After 20 odd years of manual Honda Jazzes. He refuses to buy an auto, despite having both his knees replaced multiple times. I bought my first auto at 38 and won't go back to a manual now for a daily driver.

I'm always, always suspicious of conversions like that, more specifcally about the provenance of the parts used. I mean, who has an RS3 lying around that they're willing to butcher and chuck the parts into a Yeti? There was a story floting around last year about a guy with a custom made F30 M3 Touring that was built from 2 or 3 separate, stolen M3s, and he had his car seized and crushed by Her Maj's boys in blue. There's a bit of bullshit in the ad too - 8000 rpm redline on a 5 pot turbo? Not this side of a Group B quattro, sunshine. I also don't believe for one minute that the incorrect registration is anything to do with a DVLA delay. I've seen it all too often in my years poking into the aftermarket mod industry. More often than not, people just won't bother re-registering the car so they can commit road tax fraud, or even full insurance fraud - by not claiming the mods when insuring, and insuring as per the original details. Still registered as blue, still registered as a 2 litre diesel, taxed and MOTd as such, last update in June last year. There is not a chance in hell he has been waiting that long for an updated V5, he's simply not bothered telling them and is therefore on the blag. Shame you can't check whether mods are claimed on insuring on ASKMID, because I'd be willing to bet a significant chunk of money that this heap is not insured properly either.
Pricks like this are why insurance is as costly as it is.

£50k starting price is nothing for a VW scenewagon. We were browsing AT for a laugh at work a few weeks ago and there was a T6 Transporter on there, a Highline DSG, for £84k. It wasn't even new and wasn't even converted to a camper! Who pays £84k for a van?

Shell has upped to 173.9 as of yesterday. Even the ASDA, which is the cheapest I have found, was £1.57 for diesel yesterday when I had no choice but to fill up.

I was explainging to Lottie the other day how I was walking to and from school on my own at her age (9), from a greater distance. The worst part is the school itself bans any kids younger than Year 5 from entering/exiting alone.

I have to drop Lottie at breakfast club every morning. Thankfully, it's at 7.30 and on my way to work, so no traffic and no problems parking. The issue comes when dropping her in at normal time. Then all hell breaks loose. Lottie's scool and the Catholic school are right next to each other, but set back from the road and accessible via either a small footpath or a cul de sac. Cue every man and his posh roader fighting to park as close as humanly possible to the school gates without violating the zig-zag markings, meaning they park on both sides of the road, on the pavement, close to junctions and sometimes across driveways.
Guess what's 200 yards down the road from both schools? A big supermarket car park with plenty of space for parents from both schools, and the high school that's also in the same block. But no, they have to park their Kuga or Disco Sport within farting distance of the school because woe betide little Jayden, Blayden or Iron Mayden having to use their fucking legs.
I hate people, I really do.

A mate took delivery of a spanking new 22 plate Merc Vito on the day, other than that, the only other 22 I've seen was a Cayman GT4.

The other benefit of mine is that with the twat plate on, to the uninitiated, it looks like I have a posher car than I actually do. Until the oik with the shaved head and big beard/tattoos gets out of it.

I pass a Shell station in Speke every day on the way to work. On Monday, diesel was £1.53.9, Wednesday had crept up to £1.56.9 and by the time I went home on Friday is was £1.70.9.
Not on your Nelly am I paying that.

I spent yesterday driving the work's van to Hutton in Essex, via Coventry on the way home. It was like wrestling a particularly grumpy bear, if the bear was covered in baby oil, on a polished marble floor, hadn't eaten for 3 days and could see but couldn't reach a female bear in the distance. The journey home was made worse by the fact I was carrying about £70ks worth of engine and bodywork in the back.

Does it have Shogun Pinin front wheels and full fat Shogun rears? Only ask because I noticed the fronts are 5 stud and the rears 6. Is that a function thing or just what you had lying around and made hubs to match?

Generic as piss but will sell like warm baked goods. Although, saying that, I can count on one hand the amount of Stelvios I've seen, and one of them belongs to a friend of mine.
