A Hyundai Nexo (Fuel Cell) with the plate H1 FCV, which was on the back of a single vehicle transporter. Probably easier than trying to find somewhere to fill it up. Yesterday’s spot was a very ratty looking BX GTI. We're getting 2 hydrogen filling stations in Middlesbrough. One around the corner.

Have campervan, will travel I was in recovery mode after Mrs Tim dragged me up Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers on Saturday! There were a lot of Pwer Rangers sitting around with ice creams but in full leathers, wouldnt've liked to be them!

Saw a new Discovery with SVO badges on front and back. I didn’t hear it so don’t know if it was a V8 or not but interesting nonetheless. I've now seen this car a few times around town. It's a petrol but not a V8. I don't know if it has been through the SV process or if the owner has just stuck the badges on - I suspect the latter.

I was walking back to the car last night and saw a new Audi Q??? - the new electric one.
As a car spotter I identified it as an Audi Q model that looked slightly different and then saw the turbine wheels and then the camera door mirrors. It looks a tiny bit sleeker then a normal Q model but I was surprised how big it actually is, easily the same as the Mk1 Q7 I'd say.
I've seen a couple of new Mazda 3s over the last week, it really stands out as a sleek bit of design compared with pretty much everything else (especially that Merc G thing Racing put the link up for).
Finally, I saw a 19 plate Merc S Class this morning. Since Martin got his 7 I've been aware that I haven't seen any new S Classes (to the extent that I couldn't remember what the latest one looked like), I've seen a handful of A8s and, comparatively, new 7 series have been everywhere until the point they put the comedy grille on it!

A couple of days ago, on the Fosse Way near Northleach, in a monsoon, a DB5 and then a few moments later an E-Type Roadster.

I saw a new CLA this morning and had a bit of a double take as it looked large but not quite big enough to be a CLS. From the rear it is very like the CLS.
It looks pretty nice to be honest and I am sure it will do well with those looking for something a bit more stylish than the average saloon.

Been seeing a few Tesla Model 3's about now, they have quite a pronounced "cab forward" design, they kind of remind me a bit of the Chrysler Neon in that respect.

A BMW 328 convertible. Unless they were all convertible, in which case it was a 328!

Is that one of the five or a repro?

Yesterday actually, an immaculate Impreza RB320. I was *that* close to buying one, back in the day.

Is that one of the five or a repro? It looks genuine to me. It is the Ventoux version, rather than the even more desirable Atalante version, but I wouldn't say no...

The Ventoux, being a lot more accessible and realistic could even be on the lottery win list. The $40M Black is a scary beast, could it even be realistically driven?

A green Fiat Coupe (sounded like a 5 pot) which passed me at well over 100mph on the M8 near Paisley last night. Tim?
EDIT: I wasn't doing over 100mph, I was doing 70mph and he passed me like a rocket!

Not guilty m'lud, mine's cowering in the garage (at home) under a healthy covering of DIY related dust at the moment.

Maybe Chris could come for a holiday and do it for you! I did wonder about offering him that opportunity but there's a twisted part of me that wants to keep the cars dirty to piss off the next door neighbours who are constantly washing their Audis ( a Postman Pat red A7 and a dark blue A4 Avant)! I'm not washing the Fiat as I reckon the layer of dust will add about £20k to its value when I haul it out of the garage as a 'barn find'

^ although I took some car cleaning related stuff to Scotland on my trip last month and returned home with a bit more (thanks to special offers at some of the Tesco stores but very limited luggage space), I didn't take a bucket or sponge with me !

I could've provided a bucket along with a selection of sponges and wash mitts for you. Next you're up give me a shout and you can do all 5 cars! I'll even provide a stepladder so you can do the roof of the campervan

Did you fly to Scotland to seek out all the Tesco stores with cheap chamois offers? No, I flew to see the V&A, RRS Discovery, Lighthouse museum, Dunottar Castle etc but Tesco are prolific now (RIP William Low) and have some great-value cafes in their stores for hot snack lunches, and/or "meal deals", and they also have customer toilets, something you may appreciate when you get older and your bladder's strength deteriorates
