I saw the local billionaires Ferrari Daytona Spyder at the weekend. Always nice to see it used.

I think you're right.....and it just goes to show that Politicians have been trying to spoil everyone's fun for much longer than we care to remember. As a boy I can remember when the NSL meant 70mph on even the smallest country road. My Dad used to punt his type 3 and type 4 VW's along our local roads at that speed all the time.

The 206 Dino was the original Road going Dino before they put the 2.4 in the car and obviously called it the 246. The 206 2.0 was a Fiat unit that Ferrari used to go racing in junior formulas. Your thinking of the 208 which was a 2.0 version of the 308 which was made for its domestic market as cars over 2.0 were heavily penalised and later given a turbo to actually produce forward motion

There was a Rolls Wraith (? modern 2 door coupe) parked outside Malmaison in Dundee all day yesterday. It was silver over Indigo Blue and goes to show, once again, that money doesn't buy taste.

Something called a Nissan Pixo today, which I don't recall ever seeing one of before. White goods on wheels if ever I saw it.

Yesterday the sun was out and I passed an immaculate Ford XR3i cabrio in white. It was being followed by a FIAT 500 which looked huge next to it.
I felt quite nostalgic and stuck on a bit of Club Tropicana by Wham to complete the mood.

I was following a shiny new Range Rover and Bentley Mulsanne, the three of us driving in convoy, until they pulled into the entrance of Highgrove...

Saw an old sports car today with a fan shaped grille. Old Austin Healey perhaps? I've no idea...

Less than 12 hours after the MX-5 vs 124 Abarth debate I saw .. .. .. a 124 Abarth, with the top down, heading the opposite direction to me on the M80. In red too.

That's him! I did have a bit of an idea then. What would that be, mid 50s?

Yes. About 1953 I think, until replaced by the 100/6 In the late 50s.

A first generation Lexus LS, badly painted matt black, with gold wheels, gold lettering, lowered, weird camber etc etc. Looked awful.

Volvo S90- I didn’t even know there’s such a thing. It was a T5. BMW i8, Mercedes CL65AMG, brand new M3 and a new 330, all models of Tesla, Lexus RX350L, a Dodge Challenger SRT in a tunnel giving it full beans, Mercedes SLR and finally a Lamborghini Hurracan.- fantastic looking car.
Silicon Valley never disappoints the car enthusiast.
There was also a Toyota Mirai.

St Andrews is turning into a rare car spotters paradise. Lately I've seen an Alfa 4C (1st one I've seen on the road), a German reg Corvette C5, a German reg BMW Z8 and a Fiat 128 saloon I also saw a rough looking first gen Lexus IS-F in Kirkcaldy yesterday.

I also saw a rough looking first gen Lexus IS-F in Kirkcaldy yesterday. It was only rough because it was in Kirkcaldy. It would have been quite gentile if it had been in St Andrews!

I'm sure there's a fantastically inappropriate joke to be made in there somewhere, possibly involving putting a big engine in the nose of a small car....

A Ford Probe. Clearly a car not bowled over by demand.

I saw a Probe the other day, too!
Also saw an older Corvette (C3) from when they still called it a Stingray, I think.

I have no idea what it was but about 300 motorbikes parked up outside our house yesterday ,they went for a drink at the pub opposite ,lots of very nice bikes. Today saw a very heavily disguised coupe ,so many zig zags on I couldn’t say if it was an Aston vantage or jag f type ,but guessing aston either a manual vantage or if they are doing one a v12 ,
