Just been made aware of this drive-volkswagen-group.com/en/ausstellung/75-jahre-porsche-sportwagen-driven-by-dreams/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=berlinnews0823enand 8 weeks from now, strikes etc permitting I'll be in Berlin just down the road. One of the Porsche factories is about 2 hours away by train, near Leipzig, and they do factory tours and experience drives. Anyone done the tour or the driving experiences? Likely to be the closest I get to a Porsche if I can fit it in, which is unlikely. For BB, the BMW motorcycle factory is in the west of Berlin but currently there are no tours available on the days I am due to be there. I'm still hoping i may get to Wolfsbug for the VW factory tour this time but that is also unlikely. I think i may have to plan a few more trips to Germany in the coming years

I’ve done the U.K. Porsche GT experience. It was well worth it. I’d love to do the Leipzig one as the tracks are bigger.

Assuming I'm in the area at some point before it closed, I must take a look! Porsche clearly do some road driving experience days as well, coming back from Switzerland through Germany a year ago, I saw this lot (there were many more but they were leaving by the time I took a pic) with Porsche clothing-clad people all organising them:

I'd make the time for a visit and not just because that's where the Panamera is built. If you can get a driving experience, it will be fantastic, so go for it.
I don't think they do tours that regularly, so it might not be easy to make it work.

I keep seeing adverts for them in the My Porsche app. I clicked through the other day and I didn't think they looked that horrendously priced as they included use of a 911 and stays in decent hotels, £4.5k-£7k for 4-6 days iirc. The Track master events in GT products are expensive, you could spend £20k in a couple of days if you don't have your own car.
