Every now and then I look for something out of the ordinary.
Brewdog brewery come up with some pretty amazing beer imho.
I missed the recent limited edition but acquired some of their Cake Cartel Stout, it's amazingly good. Lots of dark rich fruiut cake in there and despite some reservations it works.
DPD messing up means it was four days late but worth the wait.
When it comes to it, folk can have all the quantity they want, I'll stick to quality.
I will have to eke these out, far to good to consume quickly.

It’ll sound weird but I can’t get onboard with beer in these little 330ml cans, just seems wrong. I prefer bottles anyway but if you’re going to give me beer in a can at least give it to me in an adult size.

Don't like their politics much, either.

I tend to avoid Brewdog because of their generally crap attitude towards everyone else.
I also like a full measure of beer and 330ml is not a full measure.

Agree a 330ml can feels too small for a beer. Has to be at least a 500ml bottle at home. I can never understand buying bottles of beer at a pub. Has to be a draught pint.
Do like a good stout though and also a porter during winter.

More and more of the craft producers are going for the smaller ans/bottles to ramp up the profit. I doubt Brewdog are doing anything unusual but agree the full size bottles are preferrerable.
Another craft producer, Harviestoun do this as do Robinson's in Stockport. Old Tom has always been in the smaller bottles. Once it is in a glass the difference is not that great.
As for the attitude, I have not noticed anything amiss but I just buy the beer occasionally. I used to like various Guiness products but went off them a while back.

There was a lot of unhappy staff a couple of years ago:

I got a free voucher for Beer52. You have to sign up for a monthly subscription to get the free month up front which is refundable without any obligation if you aren't happy.
I can't imagine anyone being happy. I reckon there was less than £10 worth of beer delivered which they allege is £40 a month.
I signed up online but had to endure 45 minutes on hold and 10 minutes hard sell to cancel. Wouldn't go near them with someone else's bargepole.

When Sara was around we used to have a Laithwaites membership. Their delivery was haphazard at best and day/time of delivery was usually off. To find they had delivered and a message saying "Parcel behind bin" when the bin was in plain aight to anyone was just not acceptable so we ended that.
Naked wine's were worse for the items delivered, they could not keep to the order and felt it was OK to substitue anything they had in stock or short the order without shorting the bill. Some may like Spanish wine but I don't and that was in the account details.
I had a partial delivery from Brewdog but that was an issue with the delivery not being scanned. Possibly a warehouse staff member screwed up but it was resolved reasonably and I got fout four extra black heart stout full size cans.

I signed up for a free case which was nice and easy bit cancelling required being on hold for half an hour and a grilling about why I wished to cancel. Telling them that their beers weren't full size and deep fried sweetcorn isnt a proper bar snack didn't go down well but they let me end my subscription nonetheless.

A bit of a win, the missing order turned up roday so I doubt they made much in the way of profit. Thinking about it, a large tine of the cake cartel stout might be on the too much side, very sweet. Nice in moderation.
