Getting the Alvis out of winter hibernation. Some general fettling oiling, greasing and adjustment including adjusting the clutch The next job was to repair the horn button which had let go after 96 years of stirling service Then, time for a blast around the lanes. It never ceases to amaze me just how well this car goes for something which is nearly 100 years old

100 years old ! That's Mad . Hope to see it at Prescott sometime this year. He might need to set off now! This is very different to the Standard. In the Alvis, my A road cruising speed is between 55 and 60. I often find I am held up by modern traffic.
