We are fighting against ourselves with the climate protection thing. The effect on the environment from the needless war in Ukraine, plus what is to come from rebuilding that nation, will be immense. Goes to show that politicians really do not care about the environment at all |

Interesting re the asbestos risk. The only problem I guess comes from if the AIB panels detach themselves from the vessel and float to the surface which could arise from the break up of the structure of the ship through natural corrosion. Even then it will be wet and unless damaged will not release any fibres. The risk is posed to anyone who finds the panels washed up on the shore and goes on to use them as makeshift building materials.
