I was browsing on Amazon last night for some photographic stuff and the Audi as per Alex's avatar is on offer, reduced to £12, so there's one on its way to me now. I picked one up for the same price in Tesco the other day. Haven't built it yet.

I paid the full £18 for mine. I feel mugged!
The wife bought me the Apollo Lunar Lander set for my birthday which I've just finished.

The wife bought me the Apollo Lunar Lander set for my birthday I'd love that - saw it in the Lego shop in Lille last Christmas but I couldn't afford it, and I don't have anywhere to put it once assembled :-(

Bought this Tuesday last week, as on annual leave, everyone else was working, shit weather meant short (ish) dog walks, well not 2-3 hours anyway, so I had plenty of me time: As of today I'm almost a third of the way through: £130 in Argos, I used 100 of my 250 incentive points (1 point is £1) which can be exchanged for vouchers of which Argos participates, my youngest works for Sainsburys so gets 10% off in Argos so it cost me £17! Soon there will be a discussion about where it goes on display.

The display discussion is the hardest part. Especially when the wife has a particular idea of what the living room should look like.

We recently acquired a piano which has a nice big space on top of it which I may try to commadere some of when the Christmas decorations go away.

There are a lot of unofficial alternative builds available via the internet, some are free and some you have to pay for the plans. This was the racing Camaro as was this, unmistakably an Audi TT: and the F40 can be rebuilt in a number of ways too; at 2 for £15 it seemed rude not to

I see the Laboured partly are also under fire for abusing lockdown rules, no surprise there.
Personally speaking, they seem more intent in knocking each other and less inclined to run the country.
Kindergarden stuff but what else can be expected?

Found the Lego set I posted about at the start of this thread and bought it. Started it yesterday, taking my time building it, much bigger than I expected, the tyres are about 3” in diameter.

It certainly does, but it's massive too and I have nowhere to display it, even if I could justify purchasing it
