Also a B reg Talbot Horizon that seemed to be someone’s actual car rather than some sort of ironic modern classic festival of the unexceptional thing. In a similar vein, a nice condition but obviously in daily use, S reg Mk1 Focus in that pale tourquoise that was so common when they were first launched.

There is a corner of the internet with people devoted to S reg Focus, as they are fairly rare.
If yours was an LX with rubbish wheel trims it made it into Twitter today.

Saw this Mulsanne on it's way to a service at Harwoods Bentley in Pulborough earlier. Not the most tasteful of colour schemes

Some interesting vehicles at the hotel. Here’s the first Rivian I’ve seen outside of their facilities. I really like them. The Bentley looked very new, and I saw one of those new M3’s today. Not an attractive looking car, even in a dark colour.

Rural California, drive past a house and something catches your eye. Reverse back and yes, it is what you think it is!

In Aberdeen today and on my walk back form lunch spotted a 1960s D reg Beetle (immaculate) and further down the street an Alfa Giulia QF in that lovely green. I want the Alfa.

So I got out of work early today and went to the redwood forest- I’m flying home on Saturday so thought it would be worth it. I set my phone up and did a time lapse, really for the scenery. Looks like I found a road used by enthusiasts and car companies. mom not sure what all the cars are below but there were 6 Lucids (three in one of the images), an E-Type, new Aston Martin, Mercedes SL and I’m not sure what all the others are- help appreciated there! I also drove through Los Gatos which is one of the more salubrious parts of Silicon Valley and stopped at a set of traffic lights with 2 new Porsche 992’s and a Taycan (all going in different directions).

The white & blue and dark blue (black?) roadsters are both Arnolt Bristols. The white one probably in racing spec and the other in Bolide or Deluxe spec. The red car looks like an AC of some sort.

They seem to be reasonably rare according to Google. Only 142 made and retailing at around $3-400,000 at last sale. The drivers were definitely enjoying themselves, it was a great day for it.

Drove past me today on the way to the airport. I believe it said Speedster on the front wing but was hard to read it, but the car was immaculate.

On a weekend trip to Sheffield for a fencing competition we commented on the number of slammed VWs which were slowly chugging up the inside lane of the M1. Presumably on the way to, or returning from an event somewhere; a convoy of fake rusty patina and old roof racks. Even artic lorries were having to pull out to pass them.

Heading home from our 'van on Sunday, spotted what looked like an XK120 heading North on the A9, top down and 'making good progress' as they say. Passed loads of horse boxes/trailers between there (just South of Perth) and the roundabout at Bridge of Allan, when a whole host of older cars appeared, from a 1950's Riley (not sure of the model I'm afraid), through various decades-worth of interesting and not-so-interesting cars, the most recent of which was a 'C' prefix Cavalier cabrio. Roof up, sadly, the chicken!
Nearly didn't get to see any of them thanks to the antics of a Passat driver - see the Villainy thread!

Driving home from work on the A3, earlier today, I hear something......what's that noise, it sounds pretty interesting.
Ahead of me I see a few normal mundane cars, the odd van and then I hear that noise again, "what is it, where is it? " I say to myself!
Then I spot something ahead, not sure what it is, I put my foot down (in the ZOE lol, which is limited to 86!), I get closer, the noise gets greater, fuck me it's a Porsche Carerra GT I've never seen one before, it looked absolutely fucking amazing and sounded even better and the driver wasn't even pushing on, I'm still excited now, I've finally seen and also heard one in real life!

Passed by a mini convoy of bright orange Huracan and black Ferrari 812; first one of those I've ever seen on the road I think.

Just arrived in France and have seen so far: 2 old corvettes (one stingray), an El Camino, a pristine looking Fiat 126, an original Fiat 500 and a first for me on the road, a Renault 5 GT Turbo that has been heavily modified for motorsport. The driver was wearing ear protectors.

Somewhere on my journeys up and down the M40 yesterday I saw a Pagani on the opposite carriageway. From memory, it was whilst I was heading home and the Pagani was heading northwards

Forgot to mention, I was behind a pretty well-sorted looking XJS on the way home tonight. A quick check shows it was the 4-litre straight 6 option. Still a pretty sleek looking car, to these eyes anyway.

Never heard of a Lynk & Co before. I was wondering if it was a rebadged Seat or something? *Edit it’s a rental scheme with their own badging. link&co
Also took this photo of a Fiat 500. I don’t really like them as a rule but thought the colour and hubcap combination really suited this one.

Lynk & Co is a Chinese brand, part of Geely iirc, so I assume will be similar to Volvo / Polestar.

I finally saw a Rolls Cullinan last week. The best I can say was that it was painted a deep aubergine colour so while it looked like a London Taxi at least it wasn't in a footballer colour scheme.

Went to Annecy today. It’s stunning. Traffic was mental but I got stuck behind this Ferrari (I don’t know the model) and the driver was reviving the engine. It sounded fantastic. I also saw about 20 911’s that were out for a spin, all types, models and levels of craziness. A number of them were UK reg plates too.
