I believe so. The other main USAF base I'm aware of is Fairford, but I'm not sure what type of aircraft they have there still. Used to be B-52's, and I think they had 'pencilled in' B-2's, but think they've arrived yet. Mildenhall is another Is Mildenhall still an active fighter/bomber flying base Andy? Being picky now, but I thought it was freight only now? Still aircraft I suppose.

Just checked to see if I'd posted this pic from our holiday in Croatia last year but couldn't see it. No idea if it was a club meet or some sort of quirky rental car company. I suspect the former as they were all gone the following day.

It was -7 this morning when I left the house and still -5.5 in the local town where I parked next to a late 90s 911 Turbo. Forgot to check to see what his tyres were.

Several unmarked police cars and vans on blues & twos hurtling along the outside lane of both sides of the M5 near Taunton this afternoon. About one every mile or so. It was almost like they were running up one side, over the bridge, back down the other way and then around again.

I wish I had thought of that one for the BFT. Tesla S P75 in the Asda carpark, looked well used rather than pampered.

I was on the high street earlier today and came across an Aston Martin DB9 that didn’t look quite right. I had completely forgotten they’d made the Virage.

Latest model 911 GT3. Stunning looking car that I got to admire as the driver gingerly negotiated the kerb in to the shopping centre at about 2mph.
Great looking car in white.

Spotted a Nissan Skyline R34 out in heavy rain on Saturday.

Saw this on FB earlier. What on earth went through the mind of the owner when they were rebranding their car? still at least Jeff provided something a bit less shocking to look at afterwards

Amazing. Is that a wood rimmed steering wheel upgrade I see? I haven't seen those mosaic bathroom tiles it has around the headlamps for a good ten years.

...manor... Today I saw a Mercedes A35. Admittedly it was on the forecourt of a MB dealership, but it was the price that brought me to this page. It was 45 grand!

That Megane on facebook is hysterically funny - I saw it earlier too. As said, WTF goes on in the minds of people like that? Or, if he's trying to be ironic in some way, it hasn't worked. Saw another "modify my Disco rear end" attempt yesterday in the petrol station. Looks better with the bigger plate.

The black section is part of the Dynamic pack I think.

The black section is part of the Dynamic pack I think. I did think that Disco looked more dynamic than regular ones... It’s all about the looks....it’s called the Dynamic Design Pack. Bits of black trim and micro piping in the seats, bound to make a difference!

I think it does make a difference. It's still no exercise in timeless design but it's an improvement.

I think it does make a difference. It's still no exercise in timeless design but it's an improvement. It does improve the looks and it needs all the help it can get, but it’s never going to make it look dynamic. The Velour looks a lot better with the black pack too, but LR aren’t alone, it’s an essential option on all Audi’s and Mercedes as well.

Coulda sworn I saw a Scooby Forester with a Merc grille on it earlier. Looked just like an ML. Not!

A 'B' reg minor saloon on the fun run. The same duck egg blue that were used by the police on local jobs.

Definitely looks better with a US/Jap size plate. Does it? Does it really? Parked outside my house right now is a car that has a huge sticker on the windscreen that says SPEEDHUNTERS. I presume this is some sort of supercar club for people who like to park in the vicinity of a high class establishment such as McDonald's and rev their engine to attract ladies. The car is a Corsa 1.2 with 75 bhp. Gotta start somewhere I guess!

Carrying on from the aviation theme earlier, I saw this today: www.raf.mod.uk/aircraft/e-3d/I could see jet trails in an arc overhead which is unusual around here and so had a look through the binoculars and could clearly see the dish on the top.

Saw my first M2 Competition earlier in the week, in Hockenheim Silver. The colour looked quite nice in real life. Generally looked good, but the back box sticking out ruins it. Also saw a new X5, it was the 3.0d. I can't believe I'm saying this, it sounded rather good for a diesel. Also saw a lovely grey DB11, it might have turbo's but it still has that lovely V12 growl.

I saw a 1980s Fiat Panda at the weekend. It's probably dissolved by now with all the salt on the roads.

White hoodie, black jeans, white trainers and a white baseball cap. Perched on his head backwards. Gimme strength!

At least he wasn't in the more common uniform of grey joggers and matching hoodie!
I keep forgetting to add that I periodically see a late 80s Mitsubishi Colt, the 1.6 hot hatch one. Sadly its parked in a driveway slowly deteriorating.

Purple McLaren in a multi-storey yesterday, looking like a spaceship in comparison with what surrounded it. Pleasantly compact, too.

Yesterday on my way back from a supplier visit, on the M3 I was passed by a black Aventador on a normal 18-plate. Looked very nice but I'd still rather have a Gallardo
