It might be a good thing, PSA tried to compete with Audi (The TT anyway) and frankly do not have the weight to carry that off. I will admit they are biting off a sizable chunk of rock to chew and if they are not in possession of a good plan may end up being choked by it, I hope it works because Proton do not seem to be able to do Lotus justice and they cannot continue to rely on |Elise based variants for ever.

Lotus make some amazing cars given their shoestring budget. I'd love an Exige S but find the packaging a bit tight for my XL frame. They really are the only company I can see that could compete with Porsche on a dynamics basis for sensibly priced cars.
Imagine an Evora with better finish and PSA interior fittings.

Imagine an Evora with better finish and PSA interior fittings. I'm imagining a car worse than the one they make now?

A whiff of garlic rather than a whiff of glue.

A whiff of garlic rather than a whiff of glue. #casualxenophobia And larger door bins to fit a bottle of wine or a baguette? I'm not even joking either, my sisters AX had exactly that feature!

There are some engine options that might help Lotus to move forward.
