A friend's mother once investigated having her datchund turned into a headrest cover when it crooked.

The localism would have that sentence ending "is it?"
Nothing surprises me here, thank god I live South of the River

There is something seriously mixed up in the thinking of someone who wants to do that to their dead pet. It's like having your grandpa stuffed and stuck in his favourite chair. Warped!

That is weird. I confess to having Phoebe in a box on the hearth as I haven't got around to scattering her ashes yet. It's only been four years this month.

I like that the reason is the new dog's amourousness as opposed to the fact it is clearly a revolting article to have in the house. That said the in laws have a badger skin complete with head somewhere about the house (to accompany the myriad of deer antlers) and I was in a castle on Sunday with a bearskin plus snarling head in one of the rooms.

Yes, the whole thing is very weird and it is even weirder that she thinks people would want to buy her dead dog, but the level of outrage being suggested by the paper is totally out of proportion. It's the professionally offended brigade again.

She's unhinged for thinking that is a good addition to any room. And she's delusional if she thinks that it is worth £100.

Uncle Paul probably has a twenty pound note nobody could be bothered to dig out of his pockets, which presumably explains his valuation, or perhaps it is a £50 note? Complete with novel collection Eau d'body.

Am I the only one thinking this was a photo-shopped hoax? - the head on the 'rug' doesn't look right at all.
