The home my mum is in used to be locally owned, I think they eventually had 7, but about 12 months ago it was sold. The new directors are both London based and I suspect it's part of a much larger, overseas owned, group - similar to HC One, etc.
My mum has no issue with the colour of peoples skin, my comment was more aimed at those who voted to leave the EU because of the foreigners (I know they exist because it turns out my Lincolnshire dwelling cousin said exactly that).
Mrs Tim's best friend is a nurse at a care home in St Andrews and they have 60 beds of which 10 are kept available for council placements.
