Some good action shots there and plenty to see off the track, too. Some cars in the garage bays have some sort of metal frame attached to the front. Any idea what that is for? I assume it is part of their servicing kit.

I assume it is part of their servicing kit. It appeared to be used in doing wheel alignment, with "string" running down each side to a similar bar at the back and measurements being checked. I went with Andy and we met Ed, Mrs Ed and little Ed there. It was a good day out, certainly. BTCC is so accessible, with pit garages open, drivers happy to talk and sign autographs and the paddocks open for you to wander around. It was also 21 quid for Sat and Sun, although in the end I could only do Sunday. The racing is close with plenty of contact.

Plato's Panamera was nicely covered in dust and grime and inside it looked untidy, with an open pack of Marlboro fags in the centre console and a pack of Red Bull strewn across the passenger seat. Definitely old skool!

Definitely old skool! He reversed it into another car when he was leaving so you can add a scrape to the list as well!

Thanks for sharing those pics, Andy. The BTCC racing looks really close! What corner were you taking them at?
Two observations about the road cars:
1. That Aston Martin Vantage. Yes please. 2. The 992 GT3 doesn't look anything like as good as the 991.2 GT3.

Great pictures.
P2 THR - Tim Harvey's 991.2 GTS. One of his 991's!

On family duty but it was good to catch up for a beer.

I thought it was Luffield, but that dotted line on the outside of the corner threw me. I didn't remember that being there. But today I watched the BTCC highlights on ITV4 and there it was! Glad you had a nice time, Gents.
