I read this and couldn't believe that this was anything other than an alleged grab for money. I have endured many things considerably worse than a nude photo of me as a baby being published and it has never crossed my mind to sue anyone. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-58327844

Looks like it. He's cashed in on it 3 times now but suddenly wants some money, did no-one ask him to recreate the image for the 30th anniversary?

Yeah I read that as a symbol of all that’s wrong with American society. I assume his parents/ guardians allowed it so surely he should be suing them. Except their legal counter would simply be if they hadn’t allowed it he’d just be some kid not on an album cover like the rest of society. Oh yeah: and they’re not worth as much.

I’m surprised he’s going for such a modest amount. I’d be more sympathetic if I hadn’t previously read articles by him celebrating his claim to fame. That said I do wonder what some parents are thinking when they put pictures of their kids online when they ought to know by now they’re there forever.

The only thing I can see is a self obsessive who wants more attention. No doubt a law suit against a big name is a draw in and of itself and especially so if he is hoping to sell the story.

I hope Dave Grohl shows up personally at his house, brandishing a 3 foot long dildo with "Go fuck yourself" inscribed on it.

Such a relatively low value claim suggests he's angling for a settlement as the costs to defend would likely exceed the pay out sought.

It's 150k dollars from EACH of the 15 defendants.... Sounds like a lot to me!

$2.25 million........
Whoopee doo - when have you ever seen or heard of a damages claim in the US that isn't some eye watering massive number ($50 mill plus). This is peanuts by comparison and you would spend that just defending it.

Do they have such a thing as a "Nuisance suit"? The courts could just bin it then.
