Going for it today, going up this weekend. Normally it's on LS1's birthday (9th) or the weekend after.

I've just bought a real tree and a pair of wreaths for the front and back doors. Everything will go up this weekend.

Went to get a tree today to our usual place. It was absolute bedlam. We had to queue to get in. Instead of a choice of about 200-300 trees, it looked like a load of locusts had been through. We usually get a 7 foot Nordman (non-drop) but have ended up with a 6 foot normal one as all the 7 foot trees had gone and the 6 foot Nordmans that were left were more gap and space than tree.
