^ Well, when I started my current job in February I was told I'd be going to the USA in May, along with the Project Manager, to test some stuff we had bought before it was shipped to the UK. Needless to say, that didn't happen. Gutted to say the least as I was looking forward to flying into DC in daylight.
Personally I have doubts that any UK citizen is going to be allowed to fly anywhere significant until well into the second half of 2021, if at all. The gaffe over "virus spreading out of control" has surely affected how the rest of the world views what is going on over here

I suspect once Biden gets power, the USA will start restricting things too.

We had a cheap black friday break booked on the Norfolk coast for easter this year which when it was cancelled was offered for the same price and date in 2021 so I hope we'll be able to go there at least by April!
Meanwhile I'm in Northern Ireland this week and really hoping they don't cancel the flights back on Wednesday

Hoping that can go ahead. We would like to go away in February, but sitting tight at the moment.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should be some highly-paid advisor to government. Was I really the only person who saw what was going to happen as early as January 2020 and didn't book any trip away as a consequence?
What I'd like to do in 2021 is go on a short break to Brussels in spring, something I was planning to do in 2020 (I'd bought the guide books in preparation) but decided against booking up in late January (for May) as I saw what was on the horizon, then visit Hamburg in late summer and return to Berlin for the Christmas 2021 markets. I suspect that none of the above may happen, although there is in my mind a possibility that the Christmas markets trip could go ahead. As things stand at the moment, I have absolutely no intention of travelling any further afield in 2021.

Between last night and this morning I have been told of 4 clients who have contracted Covid in the last few days. That is nearly more than the last 9 months! Something has changed. Has it jumped into the water supply or something similar?
