Sounds good. Beats the M6 and M5 that was my final commute....
Best commute I ever had was way back in 1986, when I lived in Weybridge and was working in Dorking. A good 30 minute blast through the Surrey countryside and woods with very little traffic. There was one excellent piece with a number of sweeping bends with good visibility and if there was nothing coming you could straighten them all off at quite a few leptons. I expect there's at least one speed camera there now......

How long is your journey? Due to EU taxation rules, many cameras will only shoot video for a max of 30 minutes.... but this should still have been saved to the memory card before it turned off.... or did it fill the memory card up completely causing an issue?

If you have a suitable suction cup, any ordinary point-and-shoot camera should do although the image may be upside-down. May be best top set it to manual focus if it has that option, then select about 20ft in front of the car as the point of focus

Get a dashcam. My Nextbase HD jobby records fantastic images. I keep the sound off, though, otherwise every journey would be a swearfest.
