Following the discussion relating to UK holidays, where are the furthers North, South, East or West locations you've visited in the UK?
For me:

I'll add there wasn't a holiday requirement, just where you've been. I can't imagine anyone visiting Dover for the scenery.

N - Probably Wick (couldn't be bothered to drive out to John O' Groats)
W - Ardamurchan point (the most westerly point on the UK mainland) but also been on Isle of Man, Eigg, Rhum, Muck, Skye, Mull and Iona some of which are west of that
E - Great Yarmouth/Lowestoft
S - Portsmouth/Plymouth/Bournemouth and the Channel Isles if they count (if they do then they are probably as far East as you can go too)

N. Avoch - had some time to kill before returning a hire car to Inverness airport. E. Great Yarmouth (never did find out what was so great about it) S. St Hellier (unless its mainland only, in which case Porthcurno) W. Derry (or Lands End in Mainland UK). The viscousness of the crossing out of London on the signs means you know not to refer to it as Londonderry when you get there!

I dread to think what the audience was like. To be fair, it was a great gig. I was young, single, in good shape and regularly performed shirtless so I did well for female attention that night...

Harrogate!! That's the south! And thats where I was born! Its all rather embarrassing to be fair, odd that I've never been to Scotland. But I just fear the nose bleeds if I go any higher.
