I knew these from regular service, they sold new cars to overseas troops bot they seem to have branched out somwhat. Is it a pointless scheme? Can the prices be matched by negotiation? Just curious, I am not in the market.

Cash price is cheaper by about £1,500 compared to Carwow, but Carwow monthly payments are less.
A mate of mine in the Marines is thinking of changing his Audi A5 for something newer as it 8s becoming a money pit.

I had a couple of friends stationed in Germany and they would get a 2 or 3 new cars every year on this scheme and then drive them back to the UK to sell, often to a waiting dealer. It was a nice additional income. Alfa Spyders were a popular choice.

Would they be sold as new or demonstrators?

^ Sold as used. My parents' 850 was such a car - originally sold to someone in the Forces working in Germany then brought to the UK and registered there, promptly sold on (at a profit, no doubt). They bought it when it was around a year old with several thousand miles under its belt

Potentially interesting, if the prices are good... Thanks!
