^ I do like those wheels, but I'd be attending to some of the battle-scars if that were my car (or does it just need a good wash and polish??) I did think about sorting some of the bodywork issues, but it's an effort vs results thing. It's a 17 year old car whose next owner is likely to be a breaker, so it's not really worth spending time and money making it look mint, especially when it will have over 200k on it when I change to something else. |

You can get fresh air ventilation without getting wet or having to have the AC running. I used to love AC, but it dries my throat and nose uncomfortably in the long term. I want a set for the Defender. I always thought they were so smokers could flick their fag ash out the window without it blowing back in on them? |

They probably wouldn't look too bad on a Defender, but they look awful on more modern cars (just imho!) Edit: Depends on the type....these don't stand out too much so don't look too bad  But this style does stand out more....  |

The first style doesn't fit mine. I've tried and my doors aren't the right shape. That's probably just down to Land Rover tolerances!

I too have always associated them with smokers. I only like them at all - get them sold.
