Depending on condition a central line for arterial O2 monitoring etc, there is also a possibility of organ failure which is what kills most. I would also believe that second line ITU called HiD or in hospitals, HiDiHi which will have the same kit but fewer staff. These units can reasonably easily be converted into ITU units.

Fucking protesters again. Why don't these twats get a life instead of whining to everyone about someone else's. Got a problem with the Turkish government, go over there and protest about it. Oh no, you don't want to do that, do you, because Turkish prisons aren't very nice places. Not like that there London. Bloody brilliant protestors if you ask me. There is much there to protest and the optics of Boris getting twatted up the backside makes me laugh like a drain.

I'll look out for your pink shorts next time I watch the news. Will you be spraying paint on Winston or pressure washing it off? Neither, I'm not getting involved. The whole statue debate seems remarkably asinine to me. Ridiculous in most cases to get so offended by their presence - the history of this country is what it is and for all concerned that's better acknowledged than airbrushed. But equally ridiculous in most cases to get so het up about the sanctity of a few statues that, Winston aside, most of us barely knew were there.

I wonder if the PM's entourage have watched too many Mission Impossible type films where you see a motorcade speeding through the countryside or town at 70mph with about 10 feet between them.

Yes, us evil bastards who are bothered about others, eh? Would you go on a protest about the abuse of young white girls in Northern towns then?

That's exactly my point. People protest to be seen to be on board with the cause are virtue signalling. To stand with a bunch of peaceful protesting BNP members would be seen to be worse than standing with violent BLM protestors.

Watch the Beeb's Windrush documentary - it'll be on iPlayer. We have to own our problems first, rather than responding with tit-for-tat like a Jeremy Kyle participant.
But carry on harrumphing along with each other - this place has become mean-spirited and boring, and frankly I can't be arsed any more.

I think the problem is that all of us, and I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying this, are not racists. I'm sure we all grew up with BAME friends (although we just called them friends), we didn't bully them, call them racist names, indulge in "Paki bashing". We wouldn't discriminate in our personal or professional interactions or when it comes to hiring or firing. My parents, grandparents, great-great grandparents didn't own slaves, benefit from slavery, or set policy or law on slavery. I wouldn't, and it has never occurred to me to, blame or pass guilt onto Germans I meet because of what their grandparents may have done in WW2 - I wouldn't dream of it or consider it fair, or rational - you can't punish the son for the sins of the father. Yet here I am in 2020 being made to feel guilty for having "white privilege" - whatever that means, as if everything I have achieved is not down to the graft that my parents put in or anything I've striven to achieve - somehow we got the golden ticket. People say; "oh it's just a statue of an old slave trader - whoever gave a shit?" Well not me, tbh, but I'm minded to paraphrase an old saying; "First they came for Edward Colston and I didn't care because he was a dubious character anyway.." Before you know it we're burning books in the street.

I have one friend who insists on referring to 'the Paki Shop'. It's the shop below the flat she grew up in and was run by her father.

Before you know it we're burning books in the street. I don't know why you feel you are being made to feel guilty for having "white privilege". I certainly don't feel that way. I think both sides are guilty of a degree of professional offence-taking here and I am sorry, but it seems to be as a relatively detached observer that there is outright racism on both sides. People can deny that all they like but I'm not going to indulge their self-delusions. As you may have noticed by now, I'm not one to mollycoddle anybody's point of view.

That's not closing down debate. That's just me deciding there are limits to what I can waste my time engaging with.

And that is fine, but 12ths second paragraph is sanctimonious bullshit IMO and completely unnecessary.
