I use mine to carry skis. I don't actually ski but it would seem a shame to have it and not use it.

This is one of the many reasons I started buying estate cars. Only my 406 saloon had a decent load through seat.
Ironically, I now either use the roof rack or the trailer for carrying long stuff so I don't ruin my interior.

Because I've got a dog crate in the boot I have to carry Louisa's bike on the back seat when I collect her - it trashes leather.

Bikes go on the roof 99% of the time, unless it's absolutely shitting it down and I just throw it into the back.
