I like that a lot. A very nice upgrade.

Indeed - a very careful update. I only don't like at all the badge on the front. Makes it look like an Audi. I would much prefer a proper Fiat badge.

I really like that. The proportions and stance look much better than the current model (be interested so see other angles), which looks too tall and narrow, like the body wasn’t designed for that platform and adjusted to fit.

That's a nice update. I particularly like the Lancia Delta HF Turbo alloys

That looks really good. I'm amazed the headlights split in half by the bonnet line are a production feature - they must make the bonnet and headlights way more expensive to produce.

I'm doubting you'll see many in that colour - remains to be seen what it looks like in white, baby blue etc.

It looks as if the headlights are in the bumper panel and the bonnet has a light feature (sidelights, indicators?) incorporated.

I'm not feeling the love. It looks like they just sanded the corners off and added a grille from an Audi.

They're doing an estate?!

They did something similar with the original 500. There was a concept of the original Ford KA with an estate body. I think they missed a trick developing that brand as they could have shared the success of the 500 - ironic really given the second KA and 500 shared a platform.

Yup, still seeing a cutesy retro handbag on wheels.

Or a successfully resolved aspirational product that the market wants in other words!

I hadn't seen those photos, it looks great. I'm a big fan of the 500 (we've had 3) and I wondered how they would update it but it looks successful. I like the idea of re-inventing it as a high quality electric city car.

I agree, it's the very difficult second album situation but they've done it. Obviously a 500 but obviously a new one.

That bullshit is about selling cars, that's what they're in business to do. Yes they could have done some radical, high-art massive departure design but the truth is Fiat is up against the wall and people's jobs are at stake. This product looks to me like offering them a fighting chance of staying in business.

Is the Mono actually different because it looks exactly the same? They're making Porsche look radical!

In the Autocar photos it looks like a DRL has been set into the bonnet to continue the line of the headlight. Clever piece of styling.
