It'll probably be in the Micra!! I think the solution to the grow your own is to store the logs under cover for a couple of years?

I've got Aspen, Silver birch and willow that all grow like wildfire. Obvious caveats of proximity to buildings etc.

You can also buy bulk unseasoned and do so yourself but given how madness is taking over the world - growing a bit of my own wouldn't hurt!
Can you coppice the silver birch or aspen - or is it just willow that does that?

I wouldn’t have thought so. Just pruning branches on one of our larger silver birches results in some decent logs. I can give you whips if you want them, I’ve got loads.
