What is she actually buying? That's just as much interest as what extras she is having. With that level of GAP cover, my guess is a new Defender or a RR Sport. I was trying to encourage her into a RR Sport but she's getting an over-specced Discovery 5 - it has enough isofix points for 3 child seats and something something practical... I'm seeing more Disco 5's about in the last few months. So maybe the shock of the new (and the rear end) is starting to wear off and people are buying them. Maybe against a fully loaded 110 Defender they suddenly seem quite good value.

Maybe, but it’s more likely due to LR giving bigger discounts, up to 15%, so range starts from £41k rising to HSE Lux 3.0 for £60k. Not sure they’ve ever needed to do that before?

They're still not as generous as I think they should be. Having experienced a few Land Rover dealerships they're not close to being as slick as BMW or Mercedes.
