Nothing like a 'Vette ZR1 indeed Surprised this is a licenced GM product (effectively a late Christmas present from younger daughter, she gave me money and Argos have this back in stock at a reduced price almost matching what I had to spend)

I'm not that keen tbh. Compared to the real one, the lego model looks a mess. I like models like the Chiron and the VW Camper because you can actually tell what they are. It's difficult to recognise that as a Corvette without being told. I looked at the Dedender model but it looks too unrealistic on the interior for my liking. The only feature that looks like the real thing is the steering wheel. It's a shame because some of their models, like the aforementioned Bugatti and the Porsche GT3 actually looked a lot like the real thing.

Not keen on that either. Looks like someone at Lego phoned that in to keep the North American market happy.

There is no need for it imo, they could just as easily create a decent body and put the gubbins inside but they seem incapable of realising it. Some will work better than others.

The Lego models irritate me because they're nothing like the Lego I played with as a kid - I could make cars from normal bits of Lego but as a consequence they didn't look like an identifiable brand.
Now Lego make kits that appear to contain a lot of bits specific to that kit only but even then if you really want a scale lookalike you'd be better off buying a proper plastic kit of the car.
