What promises to be the longest season ever (so far) will soon be upon us, kicking off in Australia (bush fires and smoke-permitting) on 15 March and ending on 29 November in Abu Dhabi.
We appear to have lost Germany but gained Vietnam in April and the Netherlands in May, these 2 new races (restored in the case of the Dutch) sandwiching China. 22 races in total are scheduled, and from what I can see there are 5 occasions when there will be races on consecutive weekends, including the first 2 of the season with Bahrain hot on the heels of Australia. So getting a good start to the season may give a good advantage.
Hulkenberg is out and Ocon is in, apart from that I think there are no other losses or gains. Toro Rosso is no more, re-branded as Alpha Centauri or something like that, which I would have thought would have raised objections from Alfa Romeo for such a similar-sounding name. (apparently the new name is something to do with Red Bull clothing, or so a quick google tells me)... or maybe it's in "honour" of Boris Johnson ?? (alpha Tory)
Suggestions for Bonus Questions are always welcome .........
EDIT: Of course, we have lost Kubica as well.....
