2025 kgs, and what has to be the single worst looking gearlever ever dreamt up by man or machine.
Will be owned by your local 'yob with a few bob' in a few year's time.

That looks pretty much identical to the one in the M5. I suppose like a lot of things BMW makes these days, you might not like the look of it but it actually works better than the competition.

I followed an X4M on the motorway for a few miles yesterday and the terrible ride is so obvious. Made me feel a bit queasy looking at it, but the rear styling is probably partly to blame!

That’s better than the main brokers are offering and it’s a strong residual as well, I don’t believe it will be worth £35k after 4 years. So that’s a saving at the other end as well.

Looks like somebody's taken the Hyundai i30N fastback and given it a pisspoor makeover (make under?).

It's hard to believe but I think the front of the car is its best angle. The side view is all out of proportion and the back end has had a real doing with the ugly stick. I had high hopes for this car when they announced it, given how good the 4GC and 6GC looked. Unfortunately they must have retired the designers of those cars and replaced them with blind sadists.

It's certainly lost the sleekness that they have, this is just a bulbous 5 door notchback. Perhaps it'll look better in non-white and with silver alloys.
Those dials are still awful and look at the map graphics and how they're overlaid in this instance with the word 'Comfort', that's not clear design is it. Presumably various other messages will appear against a line-drawn background.

BMW really are a disaster zone currently, I have no idea what they're smoking in Munich but by god they've got to stop before they become a joke.
I can understand Lexus having to be bold as they have no heritage to call upon but BMW have some of the best designs to nick bits from, 328, 507, M1, 2002, E39, E46 M3, E9 etc etc. They seem more interested in upstaging Ssangyong.

I think as long as BMW continue to make huge profits there's no incentive to change the current, er, style. I suspect most people are buying the badge rather than what its attached to.

I may not buy the badge again if everything ends up looking as ugly as the 2GC. The one I am really interested in is the new 4 series and whether they are going to blow both feet off by releasing the car with that horrendous grill: it could be a beginning of the end moment.

I'm the same but I suspect a decent amount of people are buying it due to its perceived status and aren't worried about how it looks (or drives).

It definitely has that grille.
