I'm sure there is going to be a transition period. I won't be offended if people don't come over but it would be a shame to just give up.
Matt hasn't been on the scene for a good while and that's fine - life changes and priorities shift so I don't blame him. I may have been a tad presumptuous setting this up, but hey.

Makes sense to do it sooner rather than later, I'd have thought. I can see that the basic furniture is being put in (have tried to help a bit myself), which should make us feel at home.

You can edit your profile once you have joined to put capitals in your username. I presume it does this so your log in isn't case sensitive. Or I can do it! 😉
Password requirements are down to Proboards. 🙂

The non mobile version is as good as the old one. I've tried that Tapatalk app and that seems a bit of a farce otherwise I'm very pleased with the new gaff.

I think once everyone gets used to the new way of navigating things, it will be fine. I actually really like the features of the forum software - it is so much more modern.

I notice they have started a crowdfunding post to try and raise funds to drag it into the 21st Century. The problem with that is that you have only got the owner's word that he will do it. There is no mention of refunds should they fail to reach their target nor timescale and what they actually plan to do in detail. Bollocks to that IMO. I am quite happy to pay the hosting and keep this place ad free myself.  |
