Parking the Ranger in the short stay T5 was a bit of a challenge.
If you are in the market for a smallish van-like car the Tourneo Courier petrol is extraordinarily cheap this month.

The thought had crossed my mind. It's too big a car for Heathrow car parks! What you really want for that is something like a Fiesta... Short and narrow to easily fit in marked bays but with a boot large enough for your luggage It was fine, the spaces in T3 short stay are a decent size. We’ve got a small car already, no need for a Fiesta. Or a van. |

I don't see myself behind the wheel of a Tourneo of any sort either!
Interesting to note the comment on T3 car parking bay sizes.... I will be off from T3 in November and was planning to use the T5 car park again, taking the train or tube to T3.
I will reconsider..... it's mainly that T5 is so much easier and quicker for me to get to compared to T3, especially if there are any issues on the M4 spur or M4 around the airport
